Missy has been in the beauty industry since 1988, acquiring her talent through extensive advanced education and aligning herself with like minded creative individuals. Missy has owned and operated the award winning Allure Salon and Spa since 1997, creating a platform for beauty professionals to train and flourish in their career under her leadership and guidance. Missy has received many accolades during her career, being voted “Best” Hairstylist in Sacramento in numerous publications. Missy has trained hundreds of stylists, sharing her knowledge and passion to elevate the beauty industry.
Missy has a love for fashion and believes the fashion industry dictates the beauty industry. Just like the fabric of clothes, hair is a form of fabric that can be manipulated into other textures. Missy was the Director of Hair and Makeup for Sacramento Fashion Week, creating all the looks for the models for promotional material, news segments, and the runways shows. Over the eight years in her tenor at Sacramento Fashion Week, Missy’s role grew into multiple positions,
Director of Hair and Makeup overseeing 100+ beauty professionals each day, News Correspondent, Co-producer, and Producer. Through her leadership role at Sacramento Fashion Week, Missy was sought out by several fashion houses to direct the hair and makeup team at NY Fashion Week and London Fashion Week for multiple seasons.
Missy's expertise in the industry created her an opportunity to write her own beauty column in Lavish Living Magazine for several years.
Missy has been an educator several beauty manufactures enabling her to create beautiful hair onstage at hair shows, as well teach in salon classes throughout California.
Although, Missy has had her hands in almost every part of the beauty industry, the place she finds the most reward is right here in her hometown of Sacramento, at her salon, Allure Salon and Spa. Missy truly believes there is nothing more satisfying than working on her guests hair and making them feel not only beautiful on the outside but the inside too. Missy's communication skills are unparalleled. She strives to give each and every guest impeccable customer service and the hair they've always dreamed of.
Missy specializes in color transformations, corrective color, blondes, and precision haircuts. Missy is also trained many different extension methods.

Heather Anderson is a native of Sacramento. She trained at Federico Beauty Institute and has been a stylist since 2000. She has taken advanced training at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, at Bumble and Bumble in New York, and at the Graham Webb Institute in Carlsbad. She also worked for a time as a Senior Stylist for Oxenrose Salon in San Francisco. Heather has been at Allure Salon and Spa since February of 2011. Most of her clientele has been with her for years, but she is always interested in meeting new people. Heather loves to help her clients find a look that suits both their personality and lifestyle, and strives to give people hair that is just as effortless as it is stylish.
